Toshiba Satellite Pro S300M-EZ2402 Laptop

The Toshiba Satellite Pro S300M series is designed as a lightweight laptop computer for business environments. The S300M is similar to the larger S300 in terms of specifications, but has a slightly smaller screen and marginally slower processor. The Satellite Pro S300M series attempts to provide many of the same features found in the larger S300 series, albeit in a lighter and more compact body. Users who like Toshiba’s Satellite Pro U400 series’ small form factor but desire more power and flexibility should find the S300M laptops more than adequate. 2-The External Serial ATA port (ESATA) will transfer data to an external hard drive much faster than USB 2.0.
3-The built-in fingerprint reader will speed up the log in process while adding a strong layer of data protection.
4-An anti-theft security tether can be fastened into the built-in lock slot.

Cons:
1-Has only 128MB of video RAM, which is somewhat less favorable than some similarly priced notebooks.
2-Also, this notebook has only a 160GB hard drive, which is somewhat smaller than some similarly priced notebooks.
3-The poor battery performance of this laptop means it has to be recharged more often than other notebooks in its class.
4-Graphics-intensive applications (such as texture-rich games, DVD playback, and video editing) will hinder performance on a system that relies on shared video RAM.

The Satellite Pro L300 is a business savvy notebook. It doesn't have a glossy finish or any special features to make it stand out. What you see is what you get: a minimalistic, yet very functional notebook at a good price. The L300 comes with a good variety of ports, has a nice screen and a great keyboard. It is a little heavy and big to be a traveling companion in my opinion, but many business users like to watch movies or presentations while traveling and the 15.4" screen does it justice. Performance wise it gets the job done as well, I wouldn't expect to be gaming on the L300 much though.
